St Leonard’s Church was built in 1864 by the Duke of Grafton as a Chapel of Ease to the parish church in Potterspury. A Grade II listed building, it is a small Victorian building of local limestone with brick detailing to the arches and windows internally. It comprises a chancel and nave with bell cote above the chancel arch. It has two fine stained glass windows. A small extension provides useful kitchen and disabled toilet facilities.
We have a Holy Communion service on the second Sunday of the month at 10am.
Together with the URC congregation we run a monthly Messy Church at the Childrens Centre in Yardley Gobion. This begins at 3pm on the second weekend of the month. We alternate between Saturdays and Sundays, so check the events page for the correct date each month.
Teddy Club – A successful weekly club for under 5s and their carers takes place on some monday mornings between 10.30 and 12pm during term time – ending in time for school pickup.
